A pair of Queen Anne Britannia standard silver table spoons, London 1711 by John Broake (reg. 8th July 1699)
Hanoverian pattern, with rat tail bowl. The terminals engraved with initials L over A * E in Roman script. Each fully marked. (2)

Hanoverian pattern is first seen circa 1705 when it surpassed Dog nose pattern, making these spoons of the first instance to encounter this pattern, which went on to dominate flatware design for the next 60 years of the 18th century.
