A fine Kirman carpet, south Persia

Approx: 301cm. x 198cm. Rather unusual for this type with very well drawn overall design of polychrome flowering trees, palmettes and floral sprays. Well balanced colours with soft ivory field. This carpet has full pile, soft wool quality. Selvages original. Ends with original ends as well. In general, this carpet is in very good condition. Elegant and very good furnishing piece.
