A MATCHED PAIR OF PATEH PORTIERES, KIRMAN, IRAN, LATE 19TH CENTURY, of long narrow rectangular shape, the red wool ground worked in brightly coloured wools with a flowering tree stemming from a hillocky ground, the meandering branches with multi-coloured flowers, within a lobed niche, in a border of stylised repeating flowers (2)
