A late 17th / early 18th century Italian silver fork, Venice circa 1700, possibly by Andrea Cernovich (active 1696-1714)

Three prongs, with a faceted and shaped stem with an upward scroll terminal culminating in a chased maiden head mask. Marked to the reverse with AC with a tower in between, town mark (zecca) and a further obscured mark.

Length – 15.5 cm / 6.05 inches

Weight – 35 grams / 1.13 ozt
