A very fine part silk Tabriz carpet, north-west Persia

Approx: 292cm. x 245cm. Very elegant overall floral design and nicely balanced colours with soft ivory field. This carpet has has full pile, soft wool quality and part silk in field and borders design. Very fine weave, approx: 8 x 8 knots per sq. cm. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general, this carpet is in very good condition. Great furnishing piece with very good square size, sought after on the market. Attractive.
