Notes:

Albert Lebourg was a French Impressionist painter known for his evocative landscapes and mastery of light and atmosphere, particularly in depictions of the Seine River and Normandy countryside. Associated with the Rouen School, he developed close artistic relationships with fellow Impressionists such as Camille Pissarro and Claude Monet, whose influence is evident in his treatment of natural light and colour. Lebourg exhibited at the Impressionist exhibitions and was also a member of the Société des Artistes Français. His work gained international recognition and is included in major collections such as the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, the Petit Palais, and the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Rouen. Additionally, his paintings are held in international collections, including the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, underscoring his significance in the landscape of 19th and early 20th-century French art.
