A fine Kirman Laver rug, south Persia

Approx: 148cm. x 90cm. Very well drawn floral design and very good colour combination with soft ivory field. Unusual to have this design on rug size. The pile is full, very soft and lustrous wool quality. Fine weave, approx: 7 x 6 knots per sq. cm: woven on very fine light blue cotton weft. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. In general, this rug is in very good condition. Elegant piece.
