An antique Bakhtiari carpet, west Persia

Approx: 399cm. x 198cm. Great example for this type with very nicely drawn Garden design and very good colour combination. This carpet has very good pile. Selvages original rebound in places, well done. Ends with original kilim and fringes. In general, this carpet is in very good condition. Very attractive and elegant piece. Seldom found type in the sales woven on wool foundation.
