A very fine silk Qum rug & extremely fine silk Chinese prayer rug

Approx: 84cm. x 54cm. and 92cm. x 63cm. Qum rug has nicely drawn overall design with flowering trees, animal figures and perching birds. This rug has full pile, soft and shiny silk. Ends and selvages original. Very fine weve, approx: 9 x 8 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk foundation. The second prayer rug was woven in Hereke style. Elegant design and well balanced colours. This rug has full pile, soft and shiny silk quality. Selvages original. Ends with original part pile kilim and fringes. Extremely fine weave, approx: 11 x 11 knots per sq.cm; woven on silk foundation. In general, both rugs are in very good condition throughout. Attractive and elegant pieces.
