Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the horizontal composition depicting the Hindu god Krishna playing the flute and dancing with the gopis, some of them playing musical instruments, some clapping, some hesitant and some others in a dancing rapture, two monkeys and a peacock joining the scene, pasted onto a later album page with concentric bright red and yellow borders with polychrome floral sprays, mounted, glazed and framed, 25.5cm x 31.8cm including the frame.
