A George V ‘Arts and Crafts’ sterling silver three-piece tea service, Birmingham 1927 by William Hair Haseler for Liberty

Comprising a teapot, a sugar bowl, a milk jug, and a pair of sugar tongs (Birmingham 1927 by Liberty and Co). Each of rounded circular form upon a spreading circular foot, the bodies with repoussé shaped panels to the lower register. The teapot with a moulded wooden handle pinned to fluted sockets opposite a curved spout terminating with a shell, the hinged domed lid surmounted with a detachable wooden knop finial atop of a lobed calyx. The surface with gently plannished decoration. Each fully marked, also scratched NWII 7XH 152. (4)
