A Victorian sterling silver snuff box, Birmingham 1842 by Edward Smith
Of rectangular form with canted corners, the hinged lid with all over engraved decoration of foliate scrolls against a background with striations. The centre with a cartouche with a bright cut engraved fishing scene, to a simple thumbpiece. The reverse with similar decoration, centring a vacant cartouche. Gilt interior. Fully and part-marked.
