AN EAST ANATOLIAN KILIM, TURKEY

The field divided to three blue and red large panels, each containing multicoloured setttated hexagons and and smaller hooked panels. In double open border of polychome stepped and hooked panels, approx: 315cm. x 160cm. Well drawn design and good colour combination. One end with original kilim, other end wiith short fringes, slightly fraying. Selvages original. In general this kilim is in very good usable conditon. Attractive and popular type at present market.
