A George V sterling silver ‘Art and Crafts’ stamp or stationary box, Birmingham 1912 marked for Liberty and Co, probably designed by Bernard Cuzner (1877-1956)

of rectangular form with a hinged gently domed lid, flat chased with tessellated geometric decoration incorporating triangular punch work, bordered in a similar fashion. The interior with a divider and curved sections. Later baize lining underneath. Fully marked to flange and part-marked to lid, also stamped with numerals 5592.

Length – 16 cm / 6.25 inches
