An early 20th century Chinese Export silver match box holder, Shanghai circa 1920 retailed by Hung Chong
Of rectangular form, with embossed decoration of two figures beneath a prunus tree. Marked with retailer’s mark HC only. Together with a pair of peppers, probably Shanghai circa 1920, each of tapering hexagonal form with embossed decoration of figures and foliage, a band of meander scroll and pull off pierced lids. Each marked with artisan mark underneath. (3)
