Of rectangular form, the front with wild beasts in a landscape, including a dragon and a simurgh, a lion attacking a camel, and two pairs of deer, on pale ground, within a black border illuminated in gold with scrolling foliage and flowering lotuses, the verso with a similar theme, the interiors with mirroring pointed lozenges of scrolling flowers and foliage against black ground, joined by brown calf spine, 36.5cm x 48.5cm.
