An early 20th centuryFrench silver and enamel compact

Of circular form with a hinged lid. The top with a painted enamel pinkish red rose against white background, around translucent orange enamel with flower bands, all reserved in opaque enamel black. The sides and base with engine turned decoration. The interior fitted with a mirror. Stamped with French assay mark, maker's mark and 4443.
