A late 18^th century German parcel gilt silver beaker, Augsburg 1775-77 by Samuel Bardet (master 1759, d. 1800)

Of campana form with an everted rim upon a domed circular foot. Chased decoration of C scroll cartouches, rocaille and flower heads reserved with fish scale. Gilt interior. Marked underneath with makers mark SB (Rosenberg 997) and date letter X.
