An extremely fine silk Qum rug, central Persia

Approx: 185cm. x 110cm. Very nicely drawn and detailed design with good colour combination. This rug has full pile, very soft and shiny silk. Extremely fine weave, approx: 10 x 9 knots per sq.cm; woven on silk foundation. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. In general, this rug is in very good condition. Elegant piece.
