A fine Kirman prayer rug, south Persia

Approx: 224cm. x 144cm. Classic for this type with very well drawn design with stylised flowering trees and floral vase. Well balanced colours. This rug has slight localized wear to the top pile, visible on cord edges. Otherwise the pile is good, soft wool quality. Fine weqave, approx: 7 x 6 knots per sq. cm. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes. In general, this rug is in very good usable condition. Attractive and elegant piece.
