Note: The International Fisheries Exhibition was a Victorian era scientific, cultural, and animal exhibition held in South Kensington, London, from May 12th to October 31st, 1883. It was one of the many world’s fairs that took place during the era, and was the largest special event held in the world to that point.

It attracted 2.6 million visitors, an average of 18,545 per day, with the busiest day being 15th May – the official visitor count being over 25,000.
