An antique Bakhtiari carpet, west Persia

Approx: 293cm. x 131cm. Great example for this type with bold very well drawn design and very good colour combination with soft ivory field and sandy-beige border. This carpet has full pile, very soft wool quality. Selvages original. One end with original embroidered kilim and fringes. Other end with short fringes. In general, this carpet is in very good condition. Very attractive and great furnishing piece. Woven on wool foundation.
