Formed with a baluster body rising to an elongated neck set with a pair of chilong-form handles and terminating in a flared rim, painted around the exterior with a continuous figural scene depicting a music and dance performance as a court lady watches on, framed by chevron bands below foliate sprays, the base with an artemisia leaf within a double ring

This particular style of chilong-form handles is rare in Kangxi period ceramics, and are likely based on earlier bronze examples from the Ming dynasty.

See a pair of very similar vases previously acquired from Berwald Oriental Art, offered at Sotheby's New York, 19 March 2013, lot 148 [link]. A smaller faceted vase from the same period was sold at Christie's New York, 21 Sep 2016, lot 1886 [link]

Two very similar vases are housed in the collection of the V&A, South Kensington, acc. no. C.897-1910 [link] and C.898-1910 [link]
