The finely potted dishes of shallow form, both rising from a short foot to curved sides, decorated to the interior with figurative scenes in an outdoor courtyard garden setting depicting ladies with a child, the ladies standing by an elaborate rockwork adorned with a small censer and surrounded by foliage, flowers and further rockwork, the robes brightly painted in red, yellow and green tones, both bases inscribed with a six-character mark of Kangxi
