A mid-20th century Iranian (Persian) unmarked silver sahan (entrée dish)

Of circular form with a concave side, the centre with a double domed lid with removable bifurcated loop handle terminating in four flower heads. The base and lid with embossed decoration of a continuous frieze of figures against a matted ground.
