An early 20^th century Chinese export silver three-piece tea service, Canton circa 1920 by Qiao Zhen, retailed by Cum Wo of Hong Kong

Comprising a teapot, a milk jug, and covered twin handled sugar bowl. Each of shaped and rounded edge square form raised upon four cast feet formed a branch sections. The teapot with a curved spout modelled as a knotted branch opposite a C scroll handle modelled as a knotted branch inset with ivory insulators, leading to a hinged, domed lid surmounted by a detachable finial formed as a branch with prunus flower. Each side with embossed decoration of a figural panel to each side, one with a vacant shield shape cartouche, otherwise wit a panel of bamboo and the other with flowering prunus. The sugar and milk with gilt interior. Each marked underneath with artisan mark 巧珍 (QIAO ZHEN), and retailer’s mark CW. (3)
