Cushing'), on personalised stationery, one to Miss Pass and Mr Bourner, thanking them "for your thoughts and wishes on my birthday - they were appreciated greatly", 1 June 1987;one letter, to Mr Bounner, reads "It distressed me very much to keep you both waiting last Friday, even though the delay was unavoidable. Please accept my apologies, and be sure to pass them on to your colleague, also my thanks for her share in those lovely flowers", 17 January 1988; 4to; with a letter signed with his initials, sent to Mr Mac Innes about "Theatre Royal, Chatam and adjoining listed building, which includes the Lonmer theatre restaurant", reading "It would be greatly appreciated by this generation, and those yet to come, if you would take positive steps to encourage a development on the above site which will conserve the listed group. Old Theatres are part of our Nation's Heritage, and it would be shameful if this one was lost forever", one page, oblong 8vo, 26 March 1990; also including: three complimentary slips from Cushing, one bearing a printed signature; a vintage hip flask formerly the property of Peter Cushing, glass body with black leather upper case and pewter removable drinking cup, 9 cm high; a yellow lamb wool cardigan from Simpson, Piccadilly, formerly owned by Peter Cushing, a striped silk tie and handkerchief; an autograph note in pencil and red ink, featuring his observations and annotations on how to paint toys, one page, stain to upper margin due to rusty paperclip, 8vo, n.d.; three sets of vintage cigarette cards, various miniature toys, five comics from the 'Classic Illustrated' series, Cushing action figure as Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin, v.s.
