A fine part silk Tabriz carpet, north-west Persia

Approx: 300cm. x 205cm.Classic for this type with elegant floral design and well balanced colours. This carpet has full pile, very soft and lustrous wool quality together with silk used on the field, medallion and borders. Fine weave, approx; 7 x 7 knots per sq. cm. Selvages original. Ends with original fringes, secured. In general, this carpet is in very good condition throughout. Good size and very good furnishing piece.
