A pair of Meissen figures, a shepherd and shepherdess, late 19th Century, each in 18th costume standing before a tree stump, the shepherd modelled playing bagpipes with a recumbant dog at his feet and a sheep to his side, his companion playing a flute with a recumbant lamb at her feet, each with yellow coat and floral painted waistcoat and skirt, each standing on a scrolled base, Meissen marks both with impressed numbers 3, 1495, height 26cm (2)
