A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GOTHIC REVIVAL GILT BRONZE ECCLESIASTICAL CANDLE HOLDER in the form of a stylised three sided spire with tracery and rich decorative elements, the wide galleried top supported above a mid-section with all three arches each containing a seated figure of a Bishop, this supported above a the base with the three arches containing seated figures of Christ holding an orb, The Madonna holding a fleur-de-lys topped spectre and saint figure holding a saw, probably Saint Simon the Zealot, probably originally arranged as a large church altar pricket candlestick, cast in five sections, 68cm high in total
