A mid-19^th century Ottoman Turkish silver twin handled tray, circa 1870, Tughra of Sultan Abdul Aziz (1861-1876)

Of oval form with integral scroll handles, the edge with embossed decoration of foliage, flower heads and foliate scrolls. Marked twice to the field with tughra and sah mark (post-1844), the reverse with five assay scrapes.
