An early 20^th century Ceylonese (Sri Lankan) unmarked silver gilt lime box, Kandy circa 1910

Of shaped oblong form with a hinged domed lid, the lid with a quarterly symmetrical design centred with a rosette, reserved with foliate scrolls, the sides with foliate scrolls. The underside with flat chased decoration of a rosettes reserved with foliate scrolls and a ring punched ground.
