A RARE KHANDA HILTED SPIKED INDIAN MACE   India, 18th - early 19th century  The steel round-headed mace (gurz) with a spherical head thickly set with four flanges, several quadrangular spikes and a long top-spike, the long shaft plain except from two main areas of ridged decoration at the top and bottom, the mace and shaft mounted on an early Khanda hilt (basket hilt) with a long steel spike, approximately 88cm long.
