A Kirman carpet, south Persia

Approx: 395cm. x 289cm. Classic for this type with very nicely drawn floral design and well balanced colours. This carpet has slight localized wear to the pile on the field in few small places down to knot collar. Otherwise good pile. Small light stain at one side, it might improve with light cleaning (subject to professional quote). Two re-sawn fireplace cuts at one side, well done. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes. In general, this carpet is in good usable condition despite imperfections. Very good frurnishing piece.
