An early 19th century Indian colonial silver christening mug

Of cylindrical form with a reeded rim, with a bulbous lower section upon a spreading fluted circular foot, a double C scroll handle. The body with a chased band of trailing foliage against a textured ground above a fluted section with scroll cartouches to each side. The front with engraved initials CSB in flourished cursive script. Gilt interior. Marked underneath GG&Co.
