Cutch circa 1890
A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver pint mug

Raj period. Of baluster form upon a domed circular foot, with an acanthus capped double C scroll handle, the body with chased decoration of foliate scrolls and rosettes against a textured ground interspersed with dogs hunting boar, hare, and a lion attacking an antelope, the front with a vacant shield shape cartouche. The rim area and lower section with a band of stylised acanthus leaves.
