A rare mid to late 19th century Anglo – Indian silver gilt double scent bottle, Lucknow circa 1860-80
Raj period. Of decagonal form with screw thread bulbous caps, one with a lift out silver stopper. The body with alternating chased panels of coriander pattern and trailing vine leaves. The end caps with initials EIB in gothic cypher, otherwise with foliage and C scrolls. Traces of gilding throughout.
