An early 20th century American sterling silver gilt and guilloche enamel compact / blush

Of bombé circular form, to a hinged lid. The top with light blue translucent enamel decoration of putti around a border of palmettes, scrolls and quivers. The sides and base with floral scrolls with a circular cartouche with initials ADO. Safety chain and attachment ring, also with a light blue guilloche enamel. Marked Sterling, maker's mark and 7068 on lid bezel.
