A collection of autographs, notes and letters signed by various 19th and 20th century British politicians, clergymen, social reformers, and members of the aristocracy, including: Charles Bradlaugh (clipped signature and letter to G. Roberts Brown asking if he can do anything about a petition in his neighbourhood, 22 March 1882); Edward Benson, Archbishop of Canterbury (one note, 7 April 1887); Algernon George Percy, 6th Duke of Northumberland (end of an autograph letter, 9 July 1872); Anthony Ashely Cooper, 7th Earl of Shaftesbury (brief letter discussing some arrangements, 14 April 1882); Hugh Gaitskell (clipped signature); William R. Morris, Viscount Nuffield (clipped signature); Cyril A.
