A cased set of six George VI sterling silver gilt and enamel Royal Commemorative skewers, Birmingham 1936 by William Hair Haseler
Each terminal with portrait busts from the House of Windsor; two for King George V and Queen Mary reserved with blue enamel, two for King Edward VIII reserved with white enamel, and two for King George VI and Queen Elizabeth reserved with red enamel. Each fully marked and with stamped design number REG No. 815888. Housed in original fitted case. Together with an early 20th century Chinese export silver pounce pot, modelled as a bixi funery stele, probably Beijing marked for Wu Hua and Co, 北京 (BEIJING) over 物華 (WU HUA).
