printed in red and black throughout, lacking title-page, typeset music, a full-page woodcut of the Crucifixion and God the Father from the Canon of the Mass both images with paper repairs lower half, , a few contemporary annotations towards rear on lower margin, further paper repairs to text scattered throughout and some damp stains and a little worming, c19th. full calf, spine faded, bookplate and ink stamp of Ampleforth Abbey front paste-down and front endpaper, n.d. [early c.16th.] § Hieronymus [Saint Jerome] Epistolae, 3 parts in 1, lacking title-page and woodcut frontispiece by Durer, initials and occasional underlining in red, a ii of first ‘index’ with blind library stamp, a ii of first page of text with margin repairinitial leaves with minor marginal staining, c.20th. fill calf, with contemporary panels from the original contemporary blind-stamped binding set into the upper and lower covers, bookplate and inkstamp of Ampleforth Abbey to front paste-down and front endpaper, [?Nicolaus Kesler, Basel, ] 1497, 8vo. & folio.
