A late 19th / early 20th century Anglo – Indian silver footed bowl

Raj period. Of rounded circular form upon a domed pedestal foot. The body with embossed decoration in village pattern including ox drawn carts with various huts, and figures wearing traditional dress, also figures bathing in a pond. The foot with chased vegetal decoration. Gilt interior. Marked underneath GRISH CHUNDER DUTT, BHOWANIPORE CALCUTTA.
