An antique Mahal carpet, west Persia

Approx: 525cm. x 320cm. Very good overall Mustafi design with bold multicoloured palmettes, angular flowering vine and large hooked leaves. Very good colour combination. Apart of slight localized wear to the pile, this carpet has very good pile. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. In general, this carpet is in very good usable condition. Very attractive and sought after type on the market.
