PIETRO GABRINI (ITALIAN, 1856-1926)

signed 'P. Gabrini' (lower right)

Gabrini was born in Rome in 1856. He studied at the Academia di Belle Arti where he was a pupil of Domenico Morelli, a Neapolitan painter. His work is held in several collections including the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna (Rome), and the Musei Civico di Castelnuoco Berardenga. In 2020, a retrospective of his works was held at the Palazzo Braschi, Rome.
