A late 19^th / early 20^th century Chinese export silver tea caddy, Canton or Shanghai circa 1900, marked An Chang, retailed by Luen Wo of Shanghai

Qing dynasty. Formed as a prunus trunk section, with cast and applied decoration of chrysanthemums, with a pull off domed lid. Marked underneath with artisan mark 安昌 (AN CHANG), retailer’s mark LW, and SHANGHAI.

Height – 12.4 cm / 4.85 inches
