Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence

Very rare ink signature (‘Edward’) and date, March 1885, in his hand on a small 8vo sheet of printed stationery from the University ‘Pitt’ Club.

Albert Victor (1864-1892) Duke of Clarence, eldest son of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. Prince Albert Victor, affectionately known as Eddy, was considered a suspect in the Jack the Ripper serial killings.
