An extremely fine silk Kashmir carpet, North India

Approx: 380cm. x 275cm. Very well drawn famous Ardebil design with very nicely balanced colours. This carpet has full pile with very soft and shiny silk quality. Extremely fine weave, approx: 10 x 10 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk foundation. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. In general, this carpet is in an excellent condition throughout. Attractive and great furnishing piece.
