A KAZAK KARACHOF RUG, SOUTH CAUCASUS, approx: 216cm. x 156cm. Very good type with great design and good colour combination. This carpet has wear to the pile, down to knot collar and below in small places. The brown is slightly corroded, small split on the side field. Small damages on side cords. One end with original kilim. Other end with short frings, slightly fraying and small damage on guard stripe, as well. All reflects in an estimate. Despite the imperfections, this rug still retains an elegance. Classic.
