RON ARAD (BRITISH-ISRAELI b.1951): A double rover chair, designed 1981, leather, black lacquered aluminium, kee-klamps on scaffold horseshoe frames.

Notes: The original design for Ron Arad`s `Rover chair` was produced in 1982 by his own Covent Garden based company, `One Off Limited`. The chair was purportedly the first piece of furniture produced by Arad and had been scavenged from a Rover 200 and then placed on a frame of Klee-Klamp scaffolding dating from the 1930s.
