A George II sterling silver hash spoon, London 1753 by William Soame (this mark reg. 20^th June 1739)

Hanoverian pattern, with long drop heel. The terminal engraved with a contemporaneous crest of a ostrich head couped, holding in the beak a horseshoe. Fully marked.

The crest is probably for Baker or Ostrich
